About The Hosts

The 28th AMCOA Annual Scientific Conference is proudly hosted by:Medical and Dental Council of Ghana, a statutory agency under the
Ministry of Health, Ghana. The Ministry of Health (MoH) provides national leadership in health policy, oversees healthcare services and education, and drives Ghana’s goal of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) through coordinated sectoral strategies.
The Medical and Dental Council, Ghana (MDCG), established under Act 857 (2013), is a statutory agency under the MoH that regulates the training and practice of medicine and dentistry. It ensures professional competence, ethical conduct, and alignment of regulatory actions with MoH policies to advance healthcare quality and national health objectives.
Both institutions are committed to promoting high standards of healthcare regulation and practice in Ghana and across Africa.
